The concept is built around what the team calls comfortable elegance, pairing seafood-focused cuisine with a warm, stylish atmosphere. It is designed to work equally well for a special occasion dinner or a relaxed night out, which is exactly the kind of flexible upscale option that has been missing in North Myrtle Beach.
White Heron is set to open later in 2026, taking over a well known spot along Highway 17. Given the reputation of the team behind it, this is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated restaurant openings in the area this year.
AlleyOops: Entertainment Meets Dining
AlleyOops takes a completely different approach, combining a restaurant with a full entertainment complex. The concept is moving into the former Ryan's Buffet space and will include 12 lanes of duckpin bowling, a mini-golf course, a golf simulator, an upscale restaurant, and even a shark tank as part of the experience.
This kind of all-in-one entertainment and dining venue fills a real gap in North Myrtle Beach, giving families and groups a reason to spend an entire evening in one place instead of splitting up between separate activities. AlleyOops is set to open sometime in 2026.
